Circus (Britney Spears)

Another auto-biographical song from Britney Spears suggesting that her life is like a circus and she’s in the middle of the ring as everyone looks on at her as if she’s some kind of freak show.

Oh well, they do say that some songs can mirror real life!

This backing track of Circus is similar to the radio play version – there’s no big long intro, just 3 short bars and the first verse comes in.

This makes it much better to sing when performing this song live.

Like all Britney Spears songs, the key is relatively low so should pose no problems for any female singer with a standard vocal range to sing.
