Finding effects on Audacity

Here’s two questions that came in on the same day about effects on Audacity…

Hi Kenny

I don’t seem to be able to locate Freeverb2 on my audacity.

Please can you help me to locate it or tell me where I can download it?

Some versions of Audacity ship with the freeverb installed and others don’t which causes confusion!

If it isn’t already installed in your version, you can download the plug in at:

You’ll find the downloads near the bottom of the page…

Thank you for recording studio but I can’t find any effects on it like reverb or anything like that…

I recommend using the freeverb2 – it’s a VST plugin that works with audacity (and as it’s name suggests it’s free)!
